A drone technician course is a training program that teaches individuals how to
examine, repair, and troubleshoot unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as
drones. These courses cover a wide range of topics, including drone aerodynamics,
electronics, and mechanics, as well as safety procedures and regulations for drone
maintenance.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
●Understanding the basic principles of drone technology, including the different types of drones
and their components.
● Gaining knowledge of the different types of sensors, cameras, and other payloads used on drones
and their applications.
● Learning how to properly examine and repair drones, including troubleshooting and
diagnosing problems, and performing regular maintenance.
● Acquiring the skills necessary to assemble and disassemble drones and to install and test various
components and systems.
● Gaining knowledge of the regulations and laws related to flying drones, such as airspace rules,
flight restrictions, and pilot certification.
● Learning how to use various software and tools to configure and program drones and their
components.
● Becoming familiar with industry-specific applications, such as aerial photography and
videography, surveying, mapping, and inspection.
● Understanding the use of drones in various industries such as agriculture, construction, and
emergency services
● Gaining knowledge of the use of drones in data collection, data analysis and data interpretation
● Gaining knowledge of the use of drones in 3D modelling, mapping, and surveying, and other
advanced applications.
